With 212 acres of skiable terrain, Grouse Mountain has been welcoming visitors to our slopes to enjoy the best in downhill sports since our inaugural season in 1926. With 26 ski and snowboard runs, 14 night runs, four chairlifts, a magic carpet, two terrain parks plus the Cut Jump Line, 10 kilometres of snowshoe trails and the North Shore’s most extensive snowmaking system, Grouse Mountain is Vancouver’s outdoor playground with an average annual snowfall of 9.7 metres (31.8 feet).
A long-time supporter of the lower mainland’s downhill racing community, Grouse Mountain’s partnership with the Tyee Ski Club dates back to 1929. The club officially formed through the mid-1950’s merger of two older clubs: the Grouse Mountain Ski Club and the Tyee Ski Runners.

Founded in 1929, the Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Club works to develop the physical and ski specific qualities of kids aged six through 18. Its membership includes families who participate year-round within a positive, fun, and social network that supports athletes, coaches and alpine skiing, right here on the North Shore.
Grouse Tyee is the largest ski racing club in B.C., and one of the longest-running ones in Canada.
