Fall dryland training is in full swing and now is a good opportunity for Grouse Tyee and VST athletes to assess how their strength and conditioning work is coming along.
The auction is the Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Club’s largest fundraiser event of the year. The revenue generated from this fun evening allows us to keep program fees down, hire great coaches and keep up with equipment demands.
All of the U16 alpine ski racers in the Coast Zone are invited and anticipated to fully accept the athletic challenge on October 23rd of this year. Please check out the website www.alpineathleticchamp.com and get engaged with this effort.
It's time for the Grouse Tyee and VST athletes to get back into racing shape, and the first step is to get a base line test done.

Mark your calendars, the Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Club AGM is just around the corner. It will be your chance to get a end-of-season report from the club's board, as well as elect new directors and committee chairs for the coming season. Don't miss it!
Here's a callout from the Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Club Family. We will be hosting a New Member Information Session at the end of the month. Don't miss this opportunity to get the lowdown on what it is to be a Tyee family and raise kids within the ski racing community.
Dryland tests are for kids all ages. Although the kids like comparing their scores to each other, the main focus is to benchmark and measure own fitness improvements in each training block. The coaches also look at the various tests to identify any potential weaknesses and imbalances in the racer’s bodies. There is no cost for these sessions and ALL kids are invited.
Interested Coast Zone FIS/U18 athletes and their parents are invited to an information session on the 2016/2017 program this coming May 18.
